This barcamp aims at mapping best practices, actors and technological tools from Latin America that focus on increasing citizen participation, opening democracies, the respect of human rights and the defense of free internet. The goal is to nurture the discussions, activities and mapping of the Latin American Network of Political Innovation. This network promotes democratic values and practices based on the technological capabilities of the digital age. Members are hackers, politicians, scholars and social leaders from all over Latin America. This session will be led by Asuntos del Sur, a regional think tank focusing in bringing democracies to the 21st century.
