Workshop: Design, Human Rights, and Harm

Feather.png

A presentation and conversation by Caroline Sinders on her practice, which looks at community health, harm in platforms, online harassment and on how design impacts policy and technology. Caroline will be presenting a few different projects, all thinking through the role of design and how it impacts, amplifies, and can mitigate harm in technology.

// We will be hosting a 20 minute post-workshop networking exercise to allow folks to meet others who share their interest, and strengthen collaborations across various lines. Make sure to schedule in 20 minutes extra on your calendar, if you are interested in joining //

Caroline Sinders is a design researcher and artist working at the intersections of community health, design, platform governance, harm and machine learning.
