A presentation and conversation by Caroline Sinders on her practice, which looks at community health, harm in platforms, online harassment and on how design impacts policy and technology. Caroline will be presenting a few different projects, all thinking through the role of design and how it impacts, amplifies, and can mitigate harm in technology.

Caroline Sinders is a design researcher and artist working at the intersections of community health, design, platform governance, harm and machine learning. Her work has been supported by the Ford Foundation, Mozilla Foundation, Open Technology Fund, Eyebeam, the Studio for Creative Inquiry, the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, Ars Electronica and others.
