In April 2020, Team CommUNITY conducted community research on the challenges individuals were having in regards to connecting to others because of COVID19. These are the findings.

As a result of the escalating impact of COVID-19 (coronavirus), we will be cancelling the 2020 edition of the Internet Freedom Festival. The safety and security of our participants is our top priority. We could not, in good faith, bring community members from all over the world and risk their health and that of their families and communities.
